As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Through these images, I hope to share my impressions of Dubai — from its iconic skyline and modern architecture to its vibrant streets and landscapes — a place where people and birds alike seem to move in harmony with the city’s rhythm and atmosphere.
What cannot be captured in pictures, however, is how truly friendly the people of Dubai are. They are the very foundation of everything that represents the city.
What the images below convey is part of Sheikh Mohammed’s vision put into practice: modern architecture and a transport infrastructure built with the needs of the people of Dubai in mind. Whether residents or visitors, all feel well served by it.

Dubai’s transport infrastructure is impressive
The Dubai Metro operates without drivers. It uses a fully automated train control system, meaning there’s no driver in the cabin and train movements are controlled centrally by computers.
The buildings of Dubai are among the most modern in the world
Condominiums are like mini-cities, they have schools, supermarkets, and various amenities, all seamlessly connected to the wider city.
