On January 19, 2025, the eve of his second inauguration, President‑elect Donald Trump held a “Make America Great Again Victory Rally” at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., and AVDEA was there. Thousands of supporters filled the venue as Trump promised a series of Day-One executive actions aimed at reshaping the federal government. The rally also featured speeches by Donald Trump Jr., Elon Musk, and Dana White, as well as performances by major artists, including Kid Rock, Lee Greenwood, YMCA, and others
The next day, January 20, 2025, Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States in a ceremony at the U.S. Capitol. Due to harsh cold, the traditional outdoor parade was moved indoors to the same Capital One Arena. Later, Trump addressed the crowd at a celebratory gathering, promising sweeping executive reforms from the very first hours of his new term… and he did.
It was a highly symbolic and energetic return to power giving supporters a close-up look at his agenda and signaling a fast-moving start to his presidency.
It was a very cold day, and it rained lightly from time to time, but people of all ages and genders – even those in wheelchairs and with oxygen equipment – waited patiently in lines approaching the Capital One Arena from three different directions. Everywhere, Christians promoted their faith with audible enthusiasm.
